A lot of time has passed since our last article. We’ve been busy processing your orders, digging up amazing new collections, working behind the scenes on some major changes... and, as usual, life threw us a few curveballs along the way.

But this autumn marks a very special milestone for us: CardGameGeek is turning 10!

It’s an achievement I’m genuinely proud of. When I started this journey, there were quite a few people who thought I was crazy to try building a business like this from Italy.

Well... maybe they were right. Apparently, I was just crazy enough to keep pushing for ten years.

And for our 10th Anniversary, CardGameGeek is changing quite a bit.

Over the years, the scope of the shop has continued to grow. Alongside our ever-expanding inventory of over 100 dead CCGs, we now also carry a selection of currently active games such as Magic: The Gathering, Disney Lorcana, Star Wars Unlimited, Sorcery: Contested Realm, Naruto Mythos, and soon Cyberpunk.

At the same time, some games we once considered firmly part of the "dead CCG" world have started coming back to life, with titles such as Warlord and Vampire: The Eternal Struggle finding new audiences and new releases.

We have also moved into a new and much larger warehouse, more than twice the size of our previous one. This will allow us to organize our inventory far more efficiently, make room for many more collections and, hopefully, make order processing even faster.

And finally, probably the biggest change from your point of view:

the new CardGameGeek website.

Our old website had reached a point where, especially with large orders, shopping on it could become pretty painful. Performance wasn't great, to put it mildly. Bugs had become something we simply expected to deal with on a regular basis, and the server was struggling to keep up with the amount of resources WordPress and WooCommerce needed just to keep everything running.

Quite simply, CardGameGeek had outgrown the website it was originally built around.

After ten years, it was definitely time to give you a faster, cleaner and more comfortable place to browse through thousands upon thousands of cards — and place those enormous orders some of you seem determined to keep throwing at us.

So here we are.

With the new warehouse, the new website and CardGameGeek fully back in action, we hope you'll enjoy everything this new chapter has to offer.

And this is only the beginning.

Our 10th Anniversary year is going to be a special one, and we have plenty more planned for the months ahead.

Expect new games, huge restocks, new collections... and quite a few surprises along the way.
